The Security Team Member is service oriented and collaborates with the Operations team to create an amazing and safe guest experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a safe environment through a team effort of diligent active patrol, strict access control, monitoring, and equipment control,
  • Respond immediately to distress calls and emergency calls for disruptive guests or persons, and incidents swiftly and appropriately,
  • Patrol CSBP property on foot, ensuring building, fencing, and gates are attended to by the appropriate team members and are secure,
  • Complete daily reports, including all relevant information, observations,
  • As required, assist with parking lot flow and guest communication with a focus on supporting the parking team members,
  • Ensure gate entrances/exits are secure at all times, and as requested, monitor park entrances during special events and/ or construction projects,
  • Ensure appropriate personal protective equipment & clothing are available, properly worn when required and properly inspected and maintained,
  • Ensure department team members are trained on First Aid procedures and practices, including critical incident procedures and kit locations,
  • Securing access points when opening, closing, and throughout the day when needed
  •  Identifying hazards at communicating concerns with Operations leadership
  • Performing regular walk-arounds to ensure sites are safe and secure
     
  • Take every reasonable precaution to ensure protection of Team Members and Guests, Safety First!

Qualifications:

  • Valid Security certificate
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • First Aid level 1
  • Experience and/or education in customer service
  • Professional presentation and strong interpersonal skills, as well as excellent verbal communication skills,
  • Introductory knowledge of Microsoft Office, as well as familiar with POS systems,
  • $18.50 CAD per hour
