We are looking for a Chef de Partie motivated by a passion for food and personal and professional growth.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Contribute to a culinary experience of the highest quality, consistency, and creativity
- Ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen and the daily preparation of meals from pre-determined menus, ensuring the food quality and presentation meets our dining standards
- Assist with menu creation, budget control and development of new ideas
- Provide instruction to the kitchen team and monitor kitchen service levels to ensure Guests’ needs are met
- Estimate daily production needs on a weekly basis and communicate production needs to kitchen personnel daily
- Prepare and cooks food of all types, either on a regular basis or for special Guests or functions
- Assist in determining how food should be presented and creates decorative food displays
- Ensure compliance with food handling and sanitation standards
- Recognize superior quality products, presentations, and flavor
- Follow proper handling and correct temperature of all food products
- Operate and maintains all department equipment and reports malfunctions

- Minimum 5 years of experience in culinary roles
- Previous banquet experience
- Red Seal Certification (or equivalent)
- Food Safe Level 2 Certified (required)

Considerations
Must be available to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of the business. While performing the duties of this position, team members are required to be on their feet for extended periods of time. Occasionally required to lift and carry up to 20 lbs. Occasionally required to lift and climb a step ladder or step stool.The wage for this role is $28.35 per hour.
