Job Duties/Responsibilities

With over 1,000,000 guests annually, our food & beverage venues guarantee eats & treats for everyone. As a Food & Beverage Team Member, you could be working in one of our quick serve locations. All of Capilano’s food venues are fast paced, quick-serve locations.

What you'll do:

  • Greet Guests and contribute to a positive experience,
  • Complete food and beverage orders in various Quick Serve venues,
  • Handle, prepare and present menu items following Food Safe practices and established company guidelines,
  • Replenish stock, maintain cleanliness of all food venues, guest seating area and food storage areas,
  • Assist with tasks as directed by Team Leaders and Food and Beverage Supervisor

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 months of Guest Service experience in a Food & Beverage setting,
  • Cashier experience with RTP system is considered a strong asset,
  • Food prep and kitchen experience an asset,
  • Positive attitude and a strong desire to provide experiences Guests are amazed by,
  • Strong oral communication skills, multilingual is considered an asset,
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task,
  • Serving it Right certifications and Food Safe Level 1, as an asset

Considerations:

  • Be willing to work in a variety of weather conditions,
  • Able to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of the business,
  • Have full time availability (32-40 hours per week)
  • While performing the duties of this position, Team Members are required to be on their feet for extended periods of time,
  • Occasionally required to lift and carry up to 20lbs,
  • Occasionally required to lift and climb a step ladder or step stool.
  • Compensation for this position is $17.85 plus gratuities.
